Lefkada Wooden Bridge

The Wooden Bridge of Lefkada is an elegant pedestrian crossing located at the entrance of Lefkada Town. Constructed in the early 2000s, it’s admired for its romantic, Venetian-style design and has become one of the island’s most popular spots for watching the sunset and taking photos. Both locals and visitors are drawn to its serene setting, framed by views of the lagoon, windmills, and nearby harbor. Sunset is the ideal time to visit, when the bridge comes alive with color and charm.

Cape Lefkatas Lighthouse

Perched atop the dramatic white cliffs at the southernmost tip of Lefkada, Cape Lefkatas Lighthouse—also known as Ducato—has guided sailors since 1890. This iconic beacon stands on a site steeped in ancient legend, where a temple dedicated to Apollo once stood, and where myth holds that the poetess Sappho leapt to her death for love, giving rise to the name "Kavos tis Kyras" or "Lady's Cape." Visitors today can enjoy breathtaking views of the Ionian Sea, stretching to Ithaca and Kefalonia and especially enchanting during sunset.
